Our "OPERA at ROEDEAN" concert in aid of The Martlets Hospice - Whole ensemble on stage

"It is anticipated that the concert will have raised around £4,000 for the Martlets"

The 2008 Christmas collection raised around £3,500 which will be distributed to local Sussex charities including the Martletts Hospice
The 2010 collections raised £3865 despite two rounds "lost" to the snow! |

January 2010 - Norman Baker MP (Lewes) talks to the Club about events leading up to the Iraq war and "The Strange Death of David Kelly" which is the subject of his book. Norman travelled down from London to speak to us despite having to return again that night. He found time to answer questions and kindly offered to donate £2 to our Rotary charities for every book that we ordered. It was an incredibly interesting talk
