All about us

The Rotary Club of Brighton and Hove is a group of like-minded business leaders from the Brighton and Hove area of East Sussex, England who are committed to raising business standards and to serve the local community. They follow the ideals set out by the Rotary International organisation, which is an association of local clubs, established in many countries, all over the world.

The aim of all these clubs is to:

Provide humanitarian service to the community at local, national and international level
Encourage high ethical standards in all vocations
Work for goodwill and peace in the world

CHRISTMAS CAROL ROUNDS


Our Father Christmas has a lot of young fans in the Five Ways area of Brighton!

The 2010 collections raised £3865 despite two rounds "lost" to the snow!

The 2011 collection raised a record breaking £4,500

The 2012 collection raised a NEW record total of over £4,500. Thanks to all the good people of Brighton & Hove who contributed. Again the majority will be given to the Martlets Hospice with smaller amounts going to local charities

An Evening Concert in aid of the Martlets Hospice

This event took place at The Windmill Theatre, Blatchington Mill School,
on the 24th September 2012.
Many thanks to the artists,muscians, helpers and all those who either donated or attended.
Just over £3,300 was raised for the Martlets Hospice

 

CHARITY GOLF DAY

Our 2013 Charity Golf Day took place on Wednesday 22nd May at The Dyke Golf Club
in conjunction with Brighton & Hove Soiree club

The Club is pleased to announce that our Golf Day
on Thursday 26th May 2011 raised £3000 for our charity.
This will be going towards the new Cancer Support Centre at the RSCH
Thanks to all those that contributed


CHARITY GOLF DAY in aid of the Macmillans Nurses on 24th May 2012 at the Dyke Golf Club raised £2500

The visiting Team from our Dutch twinned Rotary Club of NIJKERK with David Elliott and organiser John Vause

The Charity Golf Day in May 2013, in association with Brighton & Hove Soiree club, raised just over £3,600 with monies going to The Martlets Hospice and "RISE" which supports women and children who are victims of domestic violence and abuse.
